"Beer Days" is an annual festival that has been held since 2021. The event brings together the best examples of Armenian and foreign beer, music, sports, entertainment games, good mood, and delicious snacks. The festival aims to promote the development of brewing in Armenia, to popularize the culture of pairing food with beer, and boost event tourism in the country.

Upon arriving at Zvartnots International Airport, you will be transferred to your hotel in Yerevan, where your journey begins. Explore the city with visits to Republic Square, the Parliament building, and the Opera House, followed by a stroll along Northern Avenue. Discover the Cascade, an open-air park-museum featuring modern sculptures, including two by Fernando Botero, offering breathtaking views of Mount Ararat.

Visit the Matenadaran, which houses over 15,000 manuscripts, before returning to your hotel. The next day, drive to Lake Sevan, known as the ‘Blue Pearl’ of Armenia, and explore the Sevanavank Monastery Complex. Continue to Dilijan, often called ‘Armenian Switzerland,’ and visit the monasteries of Haghartsin and Goshavank nestled in verdant valleys.

Experience the UNESCO World Heritage site of Geghard Monastery, carved into the cliffs, and the ancient pagan temple of Garni, dedicated to the sun god. Participate in a traditional Lavash baking master class before enjoying the lively Yerevan Beer Festival. Discover the Parajanov Museum and the spiritual heart of Armenia, Echmiadzin Cathedral, another UNESCO site.

Marvel at the architectural splendor of Zvartnots Temple before heading back to Yerevan. After a night in the city, enjoy your final breakfast and transfer to Zvartnots International Airport, concluding your unforgettable Armenian adventure.

Itineraries

Day 1

ARRIVAL. YEREVAN CITY TOUR

Arrival, meeting at Zvartnots international Airport. Transfer and check in to the hotel. City tour including Republic Square, Parliament building, Opera House, Northern Avenue, etc.
Cascade Walk. This is an open-air park-museum, where are presented impressive examples of modern sculptural art. By the way, it is the only park in the world where are presented two works of the famous sculptor Fernando Botero at once. Here you can enjoy a stunning panoramic view of the entire city and see the Holy Mount Ararat in all its glory.
Excursion to the Matenadaran. Matenadaran houses and researches over 15,000 manuscripts and fragments, and this collection is constantly supplemented with new discoveries, acquisitions, and gifts. Return to the hotel. Night at the hotel.

Day 2

YEREVAN - SEVAN - DILIJAN – HAGHARTSIN – GOSHAVANK – YEREVAN

Breakfast at the hotel. Drive to Lake Sevan. Lake Sevan - the ‘Blue Pearl’ of Armenia, is the largest lake in the Caucasus and one of the largest mountain freshwater lakes in the world Excursion to Sevanavank Monastery Complex. The monastery was built in 874 at the command of Queen Mariam, daughter of Ashot Bagratuni. Drive to Dilijan. The town of Dilijan is one of the most popular resorts in Armenia. It is famous for its charming nature. Thanks to the dense mountain forests surrounding the city, the air in Dilijan is crystal clear. No wonder that tourists sometimes call Dilijan ‘Armenian Switzerland’. During our trip, we will visit the monasteries of Haghartsin and Goshavank. Hidden in a verdant valley 13 kilometers northeast of Dilijan, Haghartsin (‘Dance of Eagles’) was built between the 10th and 13th centuries. Return to Yerevan, overnight at the hotel.

Day 3

YEREVAN – GEGHARD – GARNI – YEREVAN

Breakfast at the hotel. Excursion to Geghard (UNESCO heritage). The monastery complex was built in the 12th-13th centuries. At first it was called Ayrivank (Cave Monastery), but later it was renamed into Geghard (Spear), with which, according to legend, a Roman legionary pierced Christ.
Visit to the pagan temple of Garni (1st century BC). This temple is the only monument of its kind from the Hellenistic era preserved on the territory of Armenia. The temple of Garni was dedicated to the ancient Armenian god of the Sun. Participation in a master class on Lavash baking (UNESCO heritage).
Return to Yerevan. Participation in the Beer Festival. About ten beer producing companies and beer clubs participate in the festival. Every year the festival gains more and more momentum. During 5 hours music bands perform, fun contests are organized and numerous prizes are given away. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 4

YEREVAN - PARAJANOV MUSEUM – ECHMIADZIN - ZVARTNOTS - YEREVAN

Breakfast at the hotel. Excursion to the Parajanov Museum. Parajanov Museum. Trip to the city of Echmiadzin. Visit to Echmiadzin Cathedral, which is considered one of the oldest monuments of Christianity. It was built in the 4th century after the proclamation of Christianity as the state religion. The Echmiadzin Cathedral is the spiritual center of the Armenian Apostolic Church and the residence of the Catholicos of All Armenians (UNESCO heritage). Visit to Zvartnots Temple (UNESCO heritage). This marvelous temple is the result of the vast experience and creativity of the Armenian architects of the 7th century. Return to Yerevan. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 5

DEPARTURE

Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to “Zvartnots” international airport. Departure.
