Yes, because of the country's unique geography. Unlike larger nations where top sites are scattered thousands of miles apart, Armenia's most iconic treasures—the Garni Pagan Temple, Geghard Monastery, and the holy city of Echmiadzin—are clustered immediately outside the capital. Basing yourself in Yerevan allows you to hit the country's absolute must-see historical landmarks with less than an hour of driving each day.
It is an intimate, semi-private or private experience. AMTravel caps this specific weekend tour at a strict maximum of 3 participants. Because the group size is so small, you get the comfort, speed, and agility of a private vehicle without the slow logistics, waiting times, and rigid scheduling of a massive 40-person tour bus.
Flights are not included, but all local airport logistics are fully covered. You are responsible for booking your own flights to Zvartnots International Airport (EVN). However, the moment you land, your tour begins seamlessly. Private airport pickups on Day 1 and drop-offs on Day 4 are completely included in the tour price, regardless of whether your flight arrives in the middle of the day or at 3:00 AM.
They are excluded to give you total culinary freedom. Yerevan is a thriving gastronomic hub, famous for its outdoor café culture, trendy wine bars (especially around Saryan Street), and traditional underground taverns. Rather than forcing you into generic tourist buffet lines, this itinerary allows you to choose your own restaurants and explore Armenia’s incredible food scene at your own pace and budget every afternoon and evening.
You can book directly online or via email, but pay attention to the currency. The base price starts at 239,000 AMD per person (with a 30,000 AMD supplement if you are traveling solo and want a private hotel room). To secure your dates, you can submit an enquiry through AMTravel's official platform or contact them directly at reservation@amtravel.am. Be sure to check their specific seasonal refund and cancellation timelines at the time of booking.
