Day 1

Date : April 29, 2025

ARRIVAL. YEREVAN

Meeting at ‘Zvartnots’ International Airport, transfer and check-in to the hotel. Free time. 

Overnight in Yerevan.

Day 2

Date : April 30, 2025

YEREVAN SIGHTSEEING TOUR

Breakfast at the hotel. 15:00 meeting with the guide in the hotel lobby. City tour including Republic Square, Opera House, Northern Avenue, etc. 

Walk along the Cascade. This is an open-air park-museum, where impressive examples of modern sculptural art are presented. By the way, it is the only park in the world where two works of the famous sculptor Fernando Botero are presented at once. Here you can enjoy a stunning panoramic view of the whole city and see the Holy Mount Ararat in all its glory. 

Next visit to the legendary Ararat brandy factory. Excursion and tasting of cognac. 

Then welcome dinner in an Armenian tavern. Overnight in Yerevan.

Day 3

Date : May 1, 2025

YEREVAN - KHOR VIRAP - ARENI - NORAVANK - GORIS

Breakfast at the hotel. Excursion to Khor Virap Monastery, which is considered one of the holy places of the Armenian Apostolic Church. By its geographical position Khor Virap is the closest place to Mount Ararat, from where you will have an opportunity to see the legendary biblical mountain. Drive to Areni Cave. The cave is famous for its recent archaeological discoveries as well as its picturesque views. A few years ago, a place adapted for wine production was discovered here. This oldest winery in the world has a 6,000-year history. Lunch at a private homestay with a local winemaker. 

Excursion to Noravank, which is one of the significant cultural and religious centers of medieval Armenia. The Noravank Monastery is situated amongst quaint steep red rocks on the ledge of a winding gorge. Drive to the city of Goris. Check-in to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 4

GORIS - TATEV - VARDENYATSI PASS - SEVAN - DILIJAN

Breakfast at the hotel. Check-in. Walk around Goris, a city where ancient architecture and breathtaking mountain scenery merge to create a unique atmosphere of magic and mystery.
Excursion to Tatev Monastery. Among the monuments of Zangezur architecture, it is difficult to find an equal to the Tatev Monastery. Founded in the IX century on the site of an ancient sanctuary, it is a real gem of the region. We will get there by the Wings of Tatev cable car, which is considered to be the longest in the world. In 2024, the Wings of Tatev project was honored with one of the most prestigious international tourism awards - the World Travel Awards.
On the way to Sevan, we will cross the Vardenyatsi Pass, which is part of the ancient Silk Road. Here is the Orbelian Caravanserai, which served as an important shelter for travelers and merchants in the Middle Ages, surrounded by majestic mountain scenery.
Drive to Lake Sevan (Blue Pearl of Armenia). It is the largest lake in the Caucasus and one of the largest mountain freshwater lakes in the world. Excursion and sightseeing of ‘Hayravank’ Monastery Complex, which was founded in IX century.
Then transfer to Dilijan. Overnight in Dilijan.

Day 5

Date : May 3, 2025

DILIJAN - GARNI - SYMPHONIES OF STONES - GEGHARD - YEREVAN

Breakfast at the hotel. Sightseeing tour around the old town of Dilijan. The city of Dilijan is one of the most popular resorts in Armenia. It is famous for its charming nature. Thanks to the dense mountain forests surrounding the city, the air in Dilijan is crystal clear. No wonder that tourists sometimes call Dilijan 'Armenia Switzerland’. Next, visit the pagan temple of Garni (1st century BC). This temple is the only monument belonging to the Hellenistic era that has survived in Armenia. The temple of Garni was dedicated to the ancient Armenian god of the Sun. Not far from the temple is the Symphony of Stones gorge, which is the result of volcanic activity. Participation in Lavash baking master class (UNESCO Intangible Heritage).

Excursion to Geghard Monastery (UNESCO heritage) - located in Kotayk district. The monastery complex was built in XII-XIII centuries. Originally, the monastery was called Ayrivank, which means ‘cave monastery’.

Return to Yerevan. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 6

Date : May 4, 2025

DEPARTURE

Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to ‘Zvartnots’ International Airport. Departure.
