Day 1
ARRIVAL

Day 2
CHISINAU – CRICOVA- BUTUCHENI - CHISINAU
❖ Breakfast at the hotel
❖ Chisinau city tour
❖ Today, you will enjoy a city tour in Chisinau. Chisinau is the main administrative, scientific and cultural center of Moldova. During the tour, you will discover pieces of history and culture of the city such as the Nativity of Christ Cathedral, the Bell Tower, the Arch of Triumph, the Monument of Stephen the Great, etc. An important role in terms of architecture development had the famous architect
Alessandro Bernardazzi.
❖ Transfer to Orheiul Vechi. Excursion at Orheiul Vechi - a 40-thousand-year-old natural amphitheater Orheiul Vechi (Old Orhei) is the most visited attraction in Moldova which envisages a natural amphitheater revealing a territory which was first inhabited 40 000 years ago. Orheiul Vechi includes a series of historical and cultural monuments as well as natural landscapes in the gorge of the Raut River. Ancient fortifications, cave monasteries, monks and hermits – here you can follow the history of this region. The originality of the landscape is due to the gorge of the Raut River, dug under the form of a canyon in the limestone layers of the former Sarmatian Sea, about
14 million years ago.
❖ Culinary masterclass of making “placinta” traditional pie
❖ Lunch at Butuceni Guest House. Here you will experience local specialties, as “zeama”, “mamaliga”, and “scrob”, along with
traditional pastry and homemade wine.
❖ Transfer to Cricova Excursion and wine tasting at Cricova Cellers. Cricova winery is the only wine enterprise that was awarded the highest state prize “The Order of the Republic” and has been declared by law a national cultural heritage. During the excursion at Cricova winery in the tourist train, at a depth of 80 m, you will discover the wonders of this place. Cricova underground galleries are formed by over seventy streets covering an area of nearly 120 km, each bearing Bacchic names: Sauvignon, Cabernet, Cahors, etc. The jewel of the underground treasure is the National Collection, including over 600 types of wine totaling about 1 million bottles. Here you will admire the oldest bottle of wine - "Jewish Easter Wine", dating from 1902 and discover the tastes of Cricova wines.

Day 3
CHISINAU – TIGHINA - AQUATIR STURGEON – TIRASPOL – CHISINAU
❖ Breakfast at the hotel
❖ Transfer to Tighina
❖ Excursion at Tighina Fortress. This is the old medieval fort of Tighina Fortress, which was first built in the 15-16'th Centuries by the princes of Moldavia. Occupied by the Ottomans in 1538 (in a campaign lead by the Sultan Soliman the Magnificent), the fort was strengthened in 1541 and became the center of an Ottoman "raya" (in which were included the surrounding Moldavian villages). Its walls and rounded towers still stand today.
❖ Transfer to Tiraspol. Excursion and caviar tasting at Aquatir Sturgeon Far. In Tiraspol, there is one of the largest fish hatcheries in Europe. The factory is equipped with the latest technologies and the fish can reach the size of a man. You will get the chance to see how is processed some of the most expensive culinary delights – caviar.
❖ Lunch at „Back to the USSR” restaurant
❖ Excursion in Tiraspol - Back to the USSR In Tiraspol you will have the opportunity to travel in time back to USSR. You will start by visiting the monument of Vladimir Lenin and tanks left from the Second World War. The city seems to be a ghost of the Soviet past.
❖ Transfer to Chisinau
Day 4
CHISINAU – LALOVA – TIPOVA – CHISINAU
❖ Breakfast and check-out from the hotel

❖ Excursion and honey tasting at the apery Trebujeni village will offer you the chance to discover the “sweet” pension named “Zumzicios” where actually, in a small bees’ kingdom, with a bunch of beehives in the garden Transfer to Clisova Noua Excursion at Rustic Art Handicraft Complex of Moldovan Carpets Rustic Art is a museum that holds the largest collection of the Bessarabian carpets, that are recognized by UNESCO as World Heritage.
At the museum a brief tour of carpet collection showcase of carpets, traditional costumes, and other handicrafts objects will be organized.

❖ Excursion – Tipova, one of the Christian fortresses Situated near the Tipova village, the monastery with the same name is considered to be one of the oldest monastic establishments on the territory of our country. The heritage, which consists from 18 rooms, dug into the rock at an astounding altitude, represents an impressive museum in the open air. Tipova River, on its flow to Nistru, creates many waterfalls with the heights above 10-16 meters, which a long time ago used to move the millstones of the numerous watermills.

CHISINAU – GAGAUZIA– CHISINAU INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

❖ Transfer to Comrat
❖ The panoramic tour of Comrat Comrat is the capital of the autonomous region of Gagauzia, located in southwest Moldova. This is a very interesting territory since the majority of its habitants are Gagauzians. These are the only representatives of Turkish origin that affiliated with the Eastern Orthodox Church. Gagauzians migr ated from Bulgaria together with ethnic Bulgarians and settled in Moldova in XIX century.

❖ Transfer to Bulboaca. Excursion, wine tasting and dinner at Mimi Castle Winery The Castle Mimi is located 30 km from Chisinau Airport and is a destination of international interest, unique in Moldova.
The Castle Mimi is currently listed among the most beautiful architectural masterpieces in the world of wine. The story of the castle begins in 1893 when Constantin Mimi, the last governor of Bessarabia, planted the first grape vines on the place that would become legend over the years.

Day 6
EARLY ARRIVAL – YEREVAN CITY TOUR – ARARAT BRANDY FACTORY
❖ Meeting at the international airport ‘Zvartnots’ at 04:40
❖ Transfer and check-in to the hotel.
❖ Free time for the rest.
❖ 11:15 Meeting with your guide at the lobby of the hotel and transfer to Ararat Brandy Factory. where you’ll learn about the production of Armenia’s famous brandy and taste a few of their signature blends.
❖ During the day, we’ll head out for a Yerevan City Tour. We’ll visit Republic Square, the Cascade Complex, and the Opera House, some
of the city’s best-known landmarks. You’ll also get a chance to enjoy views of Mount Ararat and see how Yerevan combines its long history with a lively, modern atmosphere.
❖ Overnight at the hotel in Yerevan.
Day 7
YEREVAN – KHOR VIRAP – ARENI – NORAVANK – ZORAC KARER - GORIS
❖ Breakfast at the hotel.
❖ We’ll leave Yerevan and drive south to our first stop - Khor Virap Monastery, one of the most important pilgrimage sites in Armenia. From here, you’ll have a clear view of Mount Ararat, one of the country’s most iconic symbols.
❖ Here, we’ll visit ArtCheese, a small local producer known for their handmade cheeses and natural products. You’ll learn about traditional cheese-making methods and have the chance to taste some of their delicious varieties.
❖ Next, we’ll head to Areni Village, famous for its winemaking and local food traditions.
❖ OPTION: Visit Areni Cave 1 complex - a multicomponent site, and late Chalcolithic/Early Bronze Age ritual site and settlement, located near the Areni village in southern Armenia along the Arpa River. (For an extra charge – 2.5 USD/ 2 EURO
❖ We’ll then continue to the beautiful Noravank Monastery, set among striking red cliffs. The combination of the monastery’s architecture and the surrounding nature makes it one of the most scenic stops of the trip.
❖ Our final visit of the day will be to Zorats Karer (also called Karahunj), an ancient site made up of hundreds of standing stones, often compared to Stonehenge.
❖ In the evening, we’ll arrive in Goris, a peaceful town in southern Armenia known for its traditional stone houses. Here we will check in to a guesthouse.
❖ Overnight in Goris.
Day 8
GORIS – TATEV MONASTERY – ORBELIAN’S CARAVANSERAI – YEREVAN
❖ Breakfast at the hotel.
❖ We’ll start the day with a trip to one of the highlights of southern Armenia — Tatev Monastery.
❖ To reach the monastery, we’ll take the Wings of Tatev ropeway, the longest reversible cable car in the world, offering stunning
views of the Vorotan Gorge below.
❖ After exploring the monastery and learning about its history as a major spiritual and educational center, we’ll visit a local gastro yard nearby. Participation in Gata baking master class.
❖ In the afternoon, we’ll continue our journey north, stopping at Orbelian’s Caravanserai, a 14th-century rest stop that once served travelers and traders crossing the mountains on the Silk Road.
❖ Return to Yerevan
❖ Overnight in Yerevan
Day 9
YEREVAN – SEVAN LAKE - DILIJAN – HIDDEN WATERFALL – YEREVAN
❖ Breakfast at the hotel.
❖ We’ll visit Lake Sevan and head north to the picturesque town of Dilijan, often referred to as the “Armenian Switzerland” for its lush forests and charming architecture.
❖ In Dilijan, we’ll explore the Old Town, with its cobblestone streets, traditional wooden houses, and quaint artisan shops, giving a glimpse into the town’s rich history and local culture.
❖ Next, we’ll take a short hike to discover a hidden waterfall tucked away in the surrounding forest, a serene spot where you can enjoy the beauty of nature and capture some memorable photos. After the hike, we’ll return to Yerevan.(1.5 hours small hiking, 1.6

❖ Return to Yerevan
❖ Check in to the hotel in Yerevan for the evening.

Day 10
YEREVAN – ECHMIADZIN – ZVARTNOTS – DEPARTURE
❖ Breakfast at the hotel.
❖ We will check-out from the hotel and set out for a visit to the Zvartnots Cathedral, a 7th-century architectural masterpiece and UNESCO World Heritage site, renowned for its unique design and historical importance.
❖ Next, we’ll visit the spiritual heart of Armenia — the city of Echmiadzin. Here, we’ll explore the magnificent Echmiadzin Cathedral, the mother church of the Armenian Apostolic Church, and learn about its rich history and religious significance. Excursion in treasury museum.
❖ After the sightseeing, we’ll transfer to ‘Zvartnots’ International Airport for your departure, bringing an end to a memorable journey through Armenia.
