A trip to the “NOY” wine factory introduces you to the fine wines of Armenia, rounding off the day with leisure time and an overnight stay in the heart of the city.
The following day starts with a trip to the Yerevan Brandy Factory, where you delve into the secrets of Armenian cognac production, followed by a colorful exploration of a local fruit market, bursting with fresh produce. The day concludes with traditional Armenian dining and another restful night at your hotel.
A memorable day awaits with a breakfast that sets the tone for a tour to the Geghard Monastery, an architectural marvel carved into a mountain, and the Garni Temple, Armenia's only pagan temple. Itineraries
Day 1
Meeting at “Zvartnots” International Airport and transfer to a centrally located hotel
Breakfast at the hotel. You will visit Holly Echmiadzin – the main seat of the Catholicos of All Armenians. After the trip you will be led to the “Cross of Armenian Unity” to taste natural Armenian dishes as well as to feel the Armenian atmosphere. After Echmiadzin you will visit famous wine factory “NOY” to taste our wines. Free time. Overnight.
Day 2
Yerevan Brandy factory – fruit market
Breakfast at the hotel. We will begin the day with a visit to Yerevan Brandy Factory, sampling the famous Armenian cognac and learning brandy making process with factory specialists. Visit to one of the popular among tourists and local people fruit markets with delicious variety of fruits and vegetables. Lunch in a traditional Armenian restaurant. Return to the hotel. Overnight.
Day 3
Yerevan – Garni – Geghard – Aghveran
The day will begin with a tasty Armenian breakfast you will never forget. A tour to Geghard, another incredible ancient Armenian monastery, entirely carved out of a mountain, will be followed by a visit to the magnificent “temple of the Sun” in Garni, the only pagan temple in Armenia, where you can admire the unique mosaic baths and ruins of the Royal palace. Your first cooking class will begin with baking lavash in tonir, a traditional wood burning oven. Then you will taste your own masterpiece in a lodge surrounded with lush forests. Transfer to Best Western Aghveran hotel /www.aghveranhotel.am/ situated on a steep mountain slope. Overnight.
Day 4
Aghveran – Aragyugh /Nairian Cosmetics factory/ - Aghveran
Breakfast at the hotel. Tour to Aragyugh to see how our first high-class natural cosmetics with plants is cultivated in Armenia. During the visit guests will walk through the garden that surrounds the laboratory, where experimental plants are grown, will meet the agronomist and other people working with soil, and will get acquainted with some essential oil bearing plants and their medicinal properties. They will see the steam distillation device, and will meet the specialist, who will explain the whole process of essential oil distillation. Some days they may also be able to view the process. They will visit the laboratory and meet our researchers and will learn how Nairian’s beauty products are made. Also, they will have a cup of herbal tea or coffee and taste homemade pastries.
Day 5
Aghveran – Lake Sevan – Aghveran
After breakfast we are leaving for the lake Sevan – the Blue Pearl of Armenia. This huge mountain lake about 2,000 meters above the sea level. On clear and sunny days, the waters, of a deep turquoise color, are like a piece of the sky that have descended to the earth among the mountains. Here in Sevan you will taste our delicious fish dish. Return back to Aghveran. Overnight.
Day 6
Free time at Aghveran
This day will be dedicated to Master class by the chief cook. She will prepare special Armenian dishes, you will have the possibility to ask questions as well as taste them. Overnight.

Departure day
