YEREVAN - GARNI TEMPLE - SYMPHONY OF STONES - GEGHARD MONASTERY - LAVASH BAKING MASTER CLASS – YEREVAN

Short trip to the Charents Arch, which is located near the village of Voghjaberd. The monument was dedicated to the poet Charents, who loved and admired the beauty of Mount Ararat. The place of the arch itself was not chosen by chance, because from there is a beautiful view of the biblical Mount Ararat. Standing under the arch, you will enjoy the amazing scenery.
We will continue our way to Temple Garni, which is also called “Temple of Sun”. Garni is the only pagan temple in Armenia, where you can admire the unique mosaic baths and ruins of the royal palace. Not far from the village Garni is situated one of the most well-known and beautiful natural monuments of Armenia – Symphony of Stones. It is said that this natural monument is the result of the collapse of the volcanic rocks. Lunch and participation in Lavash baking master class (UNESCO World Heritage Site).
Excursion to Geghard Monastery, a unique architectural monument, founded in the fourth century, partially carved out of the adjacent mountain, surrounded by cliffs, and listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Return to Yerevan.
