Day 1: Arrival & Yerevan City Tour

Arrival in Yerevan. Meet and greet at the airport, followed by transfer to the hotel. After check-in and some rest, start exploring the capital city of Armenia.

The walking/city tour introduces you to the highlights of Yerevan, one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities in the world. Visit the iconic Republic Square, admire the unique architecture of the city center, walk along Northern Avenue, and explore the artistic Cascade Complex with its impressive contemporary art collection and panoramic views of Yerevan.

Overnight: Yerevan

Day 2: Yerevan – Lake Sevan – Sevanavank – Yerevan

After breakfast, depart for Lake Sevan, known as the “Pearl of Armenia” and one of the largest freshwater high-altitude lakes in the world.

Enjoy the beautiful landscapes of the Armenian countryside and visit the historic Sevanavank Monastery, located on the Sevan Peninsula. The monastery offers breathtaking panoramic views of the turquoise lake surrounded by mountains.

Take time to relax by the lake, enjoy the peaceful atmosphere, and discover local traditions and cuisine. After the visit, return to Yerevan.

Day 3: Yerevan – Khor Virap – Noravank – Areni Wine Festival (Oct 3)

After breakfast, begin a scenic journey through Armenia’s famous wine region.

First stop is Khor Virap Monastery, one of Armenia’s most iconic landmarks. Located near the Turkish border, the monastery offers a spectacular view of Mount Ararat and holds great historical and religious significance.

Continue to Noravank Monastery, a masterpiece of medieval Armenian architecture surrounded by the dramatic red cliffs of the Vayots Dzor gorge.

The journey continues to the village of Areni, the heart of Armenian winemaking. Participate in the Areni Wine Festival, where you can experience Armenian wine culture, taste local wines, enjoy traditional music, dances, local food, and discover regional handicrafts.

In the evening, check in at Lele Hotel and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of the Vayots Dzor province.

Overnight: Yeghegnadzor (Lele Hotel)

Day 4: Areni – Garni (Lavash Baking Masterclass) – Geghard – Yerevan

After breakfast, depart from Areni and continue towards the Kotayk region.

Visit the famous Garni Temple, the only surviving pagan temple in Armenia, built in the 1st century AD. Enjoy the spectacular views of the Azat River Gorge and the surrounding mountains.

Take part in a traditional Lavash Baking Masterclass, where you will learn how to prepare Armenia’s UNESCO-listed flatbread together with local masters. Enjoy the freshly baked lavash and experience Armenian hospitality.

Continue to the UNESCO-listed Geghard Monastery, partially carved into the surrounding cliffs. This ancient spiritual site is famous for its unique architecture, natural setting, and historical importance.

Return to Yerevan in the evening.

Overnight: Yerevan

Day 5: Free Time & Departure

After breakfast, enjoy free time in Yerevan for shopping, exploring local markets, visiting cafés, or purchasing Armenian souvenirs.

At the scheduled time, transfer to the airport for departure.

End of the tour with unforgettable memories of Armenia’s history, culture, nature, and wine traditions.

During the Wine Fest, wine tasting packages are available for purchase directly at the festival area. Guests can choose and buy their preferred tasting packages on-site.
