Day two promises an adventure to Geghard Monastery, a UNESCO treasure carved into the Kotayk region's landscape, holding centuries of history and legend. Day 1

ARRIVAL. FREE DAY AT A LEISURE.

Spend your free day in Yerevan discovering the vibrant beauty and culture of Armenia's capital before the grand New Year’s Eve celebrations! Here are some great ways to enjoy your day in the city.

Located in the heart of Yerevan, Winter Park is the perfect place to experience the magic of the season. 

Visitors can enjoy a leisurely stroll through the park, which is adorned with sparkling Christmas decorations and festive displays.

Overnight at the hotel.

Day 2

Date : January 1, 2025

YEREVAN – ARCH OF CHARENTS – GEGHARD – GARNI – SYMPHONY OF STONES –YEREVAN

Breakfast at the hotel. Drive to Arch of Charents. A trip to the Charents Arch, which is located near the village of Voghchaberd.  The monument was dedicated to the poet Yeghishe Charents, who loved and admired the beauty of Mount Ararat. The place of the arch itself was not chosen by chance, because it offers a beautiful view of the biblical Mount Ararat. Standing under the arch, you will enjoy the amazing landscape. 

Short trip to Geghard Monastery, a unique architectural monument, founded in the fourth century, partially carved out of the adjacent mountain, surrounded by cliffs, and listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. We will continue our way to Temple Garni, which is also called “Temple of Sun”. Garni is the only pagan temple in Armenia, where you can admire the unique mosaic baths and ruins of the royal palace. Not far from the village Garni is situated one of the most well-known and beautiful natural monuments of Armenia – Symphony of Stones. It is said that this natural monument is the result of the collapse of the volcanic rocks. Return to Yerevan. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 3

Date : January 2, 2025

YEREVAN – TSAGHKADZOR – SEVAN LAKE – YEREVAN

Breakfast at the hotel. We will start our trip by excursion to Lake Sevan  - one of the high-altitude lakes in the world situated at the altitude of 2000 meters above the sea level. On clear and sunny days it looks like a piece of sky that has descended to the earth among the mountains. A visit to Sevanavank Monastery located on the Northwestern shore of Lake Sevan. According to an inscription in one of the churches, it was founded in 874 by Princess Mariam.  

Drive to Tsaghkadzor. Tsaghkadzor is one of the most popular health resorts in Armenia. This is one of the most beautiful corners of our mountainous country, the nature of which is unimaginable. Here we will take Tsaghkadzor Ropeway (one station) to see the beauty of the city from the above. Excursion to the Kecharis Monastery, which is a medieval Armenian monastic complex dating back to the 11th to 13th centuries. Kecharis was a major religious center of Armenia and a place of higher education.  

Return to Yerevan. Overnight at the hotel. 

Day 4

Date : January 3, 2025

DEPARTURE

Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to “Zvartnots” international airport. Departure.
