Dive into a fun adventure in Armenia, starting on June 7, 2024. Your trip kicks off with a warm welcome and a cool evening tour in Yerevan. Picture walking around Republic Square, checking out big buildings, and climbing up the Cascade to see the city sparkle below you. Imagine strolling down busy streets, feeling the vibe of the place, and ending your night watching dancing fountains light up to music. It's like the city is throwing a welcome party just for you!
The next morning, after breakfast, get ready for a day full of awesome sights. First stop: Geghard Monastery, tucked in a rocky landscape and so old it's protected by UNESCO. Then, it's off to Garni to see an ancient temple that looks like it's straight out of a history book. Wrap up your sightseeing with a visit to Lake Sevan, a huge, beautiful lake that's like a giant mirror reflecting the sky.
But the real fun starts in the evening with the Wine Days Festival. Imagine sipping on Armenia's best wines, munching on tasty food, and grooving to music under the stars. It's a chance to chill, chat with locals, and really soak in the Armenian party spirit.

Day 1
Date : June 7, 2024
ARRIVAL IN YREVAN. EVENING TOUR OF YREVAN
Duration 3-4 hours
Arrival at Zvartnots International Airport. Transfer and accommodation at the hotel. Free time. 16:00-19:00 Yerevan sightseeing tour. During the tour you will immerse yourself in the atmosphere of ancient Armenian history and enjoy the beauty of the city, where ancient monuments and modern architecture are combined. The excursion will start with an introduction to the city center, which includes the Republic Square, the buildings of the Government and the National Museum of Armenia, the Northern Avenue, the Opera and Ballet Building. Then we will take a walk along the Cascade. This is an open-air park-museum, where really impressive samples of modern sculptural art are presented. By the way, it is the only park in the world where two works of the famous sculptor Fernando Botero are presented at once.
Kond, the oldest and most unique neighborhood of Yerevan, will open the doors to the undiscovered world of the underground city. A walk through its narrow streets and small courtyards with oriental flavor will take you back to the XVIII century, revealing new facets of the capital. It preserves original 17th century buildings created without architects, making it a unique preserve of vernacular architecture. Exploring the winding stony streets and colorful courtyards where neighboring families live will give a unique experience of getting to know the unusual Yerevan.

Day 2

YREVAN - GEGHARD - GARI - LAKE SEVAN | ‘WINE DAYS’ FESTIVAL
Excursion to Geghard Monastery (UNESCO heritage) - located in Kotayk district. The monastery complex was built in XII-XIII centuries. Originally the monastery was called Ayrivank, which means ‘cave monastery’. Drive to Garni Temple, the only surviving Greco-Roman building with columns in Armenia. It is the most famous structure and symbol of pre-Christian Armenia.
Lunch in a local farmhouse in the village with an opportunity to watch the process of baking Armenian bread - lavash (UNESCO Intangible Heritage) - on heated stones in a tonir, treating yourself to traditional home-made dishes with homemade vodka made from different fruits.
You will also be able to enjoy the ‘Symphony of Stones’, an amazing natural formation of basalt columns in the Azat Valley, creating an impressive and picturesque landscape.
We will end the trip with a visit to Lake Sevan, one of the largest freshwater alpine lakes in the world. Return to Yerevan, time for rest. In the evening - participate in the Yerevan Wine days Wine Festival, where you will go with our escort. You will have an opportunity to enjoy traditional Armenian food, drinks, music and feel the real atmosphere of the festival.
