YEREVAN - KHOR VIRAP MONASTERY – ARENI CAVE - HIN ARENI WINE FACTORY - NORAVANK MONASTERY – YEREVAN
Our trip will start from visiting to Khor Virap Monastery. The monastery is known for its location at the foot of the biblical Mount Ararat, on which, according to legend, Noah ended up on the ark after the Flood.
Excursion to Areni cave, which is located at an altitude of about 1080 m above sea level, researchers have discovered several cultural layers, including a complex of the Copper-Stone Age with adobe structures dating back to 4200-3500 BC. Visit to Hin Areni winery, excursion and wine degustation.
Continue our tour to Noravank - an Armenian monastic complex, which was built in the 13th – 14th centuries. Sometimes the monastery is called Amagu Noravank to distinguish. It from the Bheno Noravank monastery. Which is near of city Goris. Return to Yerevan.
